‘Hackney Heroine’ Pauling Pearce is to throw her hat in the ring to be the next Councillor for Hackney Central. Making her name by a youtube video showing her standing up to rioters in last years’ disturbance, Pauline will be running with the support of the local Liberal Democrats.  (Video contains strong language). The election will be on the same day as the elections for London Mayor and the London Assembly on May 3rd.
